"REAL" karaoke machines

"Real" versus "Not Real"

Hello, my name is Cory Peterson, owner of Coryoke Rental.
When I say "Real", I mean a professional grade karaoke system you
are used to seeing only in bars. The kind a DJ would never let you touch.
I simply made some modifications which make this system so easy
to operate that it took all the worry out of letting you run
your own show. In fact it is so easy to operate that when I'm
done showing someone how to use it, their usual reply is "that's it?".

A lot of people expect karaoke rental to be a cheap and simple thing to
do, and are a little surprised by the rates at Coryoke Rental. If this
includes you, you might be asking yourself

"Why should I rent a karaoke machine from you when I can just go buy one
for the same price?"

I have 2 responses to that question:

1.Trying to compare these "karaoke machines"

to this "real" karaoke machine:

is like trying to compare these "cars"

to this "real" car:

I have tried out these other machines, hoping
to find a quality product I could offer for less money. I wanted
to add a "budget" rental package. What I found
is that when people tried one of these "cheaper alternatives",
they sang for about 10 minutes and said "Yeah, I went to a
party where they had karaoke, and it wasn't very fun".
On the other hand, when people use my system, they say
"People I never thought would sing karaoke were hogging
the mic, we all lost our voices and we had to kick everyone out at 4am".
Now that's the reaction I'm looking for!

So my conclusion is that my system IS the cheapest alternative.
My karaoke machine is the "real" one.
I wouldn't want to sing with any of the machines pictured above, and
I don't think you will either. I won't even offer to rent those out.
They just give karaoke rental a bad name.

2.Everyone always overlooks the cost of the karaoke cd's.
The problem is that when you want to purchase one song, you
have to buy it on a disc with 15 songs you don't want.
The price is still $12-$26. If you get lucky, you can
find a disc with 2 or 3 songs you like on it, but that still means the
average (good) song will cost you $7. Multiply that by the 1046 songs you
get when you rent from Coryoke Rental and you can see how expensive this
can get. Also, all the songs from Coryoke Rental come on one disc, so
you never have to change discs, lose discs or find your guests using
your discs as coasters.

So please, if you feel you still have to try and get by with one of
those other machines, at least recognize that a "karaoke machine" and
a "Coryoke Rental machine" are not the same thing and you cannot buy a
Coryoke Rental machine for the same price you could rent one.

Respectfully,
Cory K. Peterson
